BH65 Backhoe swing arm question

I am trying to figure out if you can take off the bh65 swing arm and put he bh77 swing arm on it. I would like to have dual cylinders for swinging the boom. Just wondering my options. If it would work or be easier to fab together than to build another bracket on the other side and connect it to the platform. I've looked everywhere and searched this site. Seeing if others have also looked into this too.

It is on a Kubota b2620 with the bh65 backhoe.

If you check the parts list for the main frame assembly, part #2,http://https://www.woodsequipment.com/files/Products/Manuals/MAN1049.pdf you can see that the part is different for the bh65 in that it has an attachment point for a pivot pin in place of an attachment point for a cylinder.
Also, the spool function would have to be modified as well to accommodate the cylinder you would add. It might be possible by using the mainframe and spool assembly from a BH 75, but would probably be cost prohibitive.

I agree, the pieces look pretty different in the drawing.

You wouldn't need to change the valve though, just tee the cylinders rod end to base end and vice-versa and supply them with the existing swing spool.

Well the swing cylinders have a crossover line between the two to synchronize the movement back and forth. Definitely would require different plumbing to the cylinders.

Yes, adding a new cylinder would certainly require new hoses and tees.

I thought you were referring to changing something in the spool valve feeding the swing circuit. That doesn't change.

Yeah, it appears that both models use the same control valves, but the 75 has a few more hoses.

Turns out they are different size pins and the space from top pin to bottom pin is greater than the BH65. Oh well. I just think it is weak going side to side. It barely pushes dirt I freshly scooped out of the way. Time for more research to figure out what I can do. Thanks!!
