Hi all
I have a 2011 b2320 with a loader and 54" mmm. I really like the machine and have been thinking about adding a bh 65 backhoe. Needless to say they are not inexpensive and i am wondering how well they dig. Can owners chime in and share some expereinces? I would be disappointed if they are really ineffective on the B2320. I am realistic that they are not like a full size hoe.....comments appreciated

I have a BX25 which has the backhoe. It does extremely well. I have taken out about 30 stumps over the past year since I purchased it in Jan of 2011. Most of the sumps were so big the tractor would barely move them when pushing once out of the hole. Several stumps had to be pulled out with my F-250. I had a L3010 with FEL prior to this tractor and I can say the BX25 has been a better all around tractor just because of the backhoe. Of course my tractor and yours are small, but a backhoe is an awesome attachment no matter the size of your equipment. Look at it this way, would you buy a tractor without a front end loader? I wouldn't. Because after you have had a tractor with one, a tractor without one is ridiculous. Same thing with a backhoe. Get it and don't look back. Good luck. There are a lot of fun too.

I've got it on a 2920 and have been very happy thus far, though its new so ive yet to do major digging. I would get a thumb for it if you get one, its great to move rocks and logs and the bh has more power than the tractor has weight.

I have a 2920 and the BH65 is the only BH I have ever used... I don't know what a big machine would be like but the one I have continually impresses me. I have the 16" bucket and thumb, I would highly recommend the thumb as it is extremely useful. I dug out the stump of 30" cherry tree that fell in the back yard. It took a bit of time but came out. When we pulled the deck off of our house we found an old water holding tank that was about 2.5' in diameter and 6' down in the ground, it was full of water and trash. I was able to dig around the tank and then pull it out (in pieces) within a few hours by using the thumb to pull the galvanized tank into pieces.

It really is very capable machine and has exceeded my expectations. I joke with my wife that if she wants a pool I will dig it. In all seriousness, with a little time I see no reason that I couldn't do it.
