Hey, I have a hydraulic hose to the bucket (part # 7k501-64550) on my bh75 that needs replacing. However, the connection is behind the cylinder. It looks like I'll have to remove cylinder to get to the connection. Is there an easy way to remove this cylinder?

Last year I bought a nearly new JD back hoe attachment. I wanted to flush every cylinder clean and refill with Kubota oil. I layed the boom/dipper out with and blocked with wood as needed. Pull your wrist pins as needed. It was not that difficult.

are the wrist pins the ones with the bolt and nut going through it? and on the opposite the grease nipple

Most wrist pins on a Backhoe are kept in place by a small bolt that holds the keeper pin in. This does two things, it stops the wrist pin from rotating, and from walking out. Before you tape out the pin count if there are any shims on the wrist pin shaft.
NEVER USE YOUR FINGER to push a pin through, if somthing moves your finger will be ???. Use a brass drift. If the pin is dirty flush with varsol spray and tape it back and forther before you drive it out.
