Dealership called me back, they said the parts should be in tomorrow or they will take them off one they have in the yard. I asked about having the other arm replaced or inspected and he said he will make a note that the weld broke on the one arm and if the other one breaks it shouldn't be an issue. The only thing he wasn't sure of was whether or not they will order the complete cylinder or just the rod, being they are close in price.

He said the B26 arms would not fit, they are wider, that's too bad. I may get some heavy wall 2.5" tube and make some heavier arms just for piece of mind.

Re: BH77 Told this by Local Parts department guy.

While i was at the dealer regarging my L39 Trunnion Cylinder piston that has failed on the BT1000 hoe, I was told this by the Local Kubota dealer parts guy that the BH77 & BH90 are not good at taking hard use, Metal thin & soft, bends under hard use.

I like the B2650 and BH77, but if I had known how much better the B26 or other TLB are built I would have spent the extra. For most people I don't think they will have an issue, I was using it like you would use a regular backhoe and obviously they aren't designed for that. I suppose I can talk to the people at the dealer and see about trading it but have done a fair amount to this one, it would be a shame to have to start over.

Just got back from the dealership and installed the new arm and cylinder, hopefully this one is welded better than the last one. Very impressed at how quickly the dealer got me back up and running, hassle free.

Had a look at the L39 and L45 they had in stock, took the L45 for a drive around the yard, played with the backhoe. They are definitely built stronger, and like the controls at the side, being able to switch from driving to backhoe without getting off the tractor is nice too. Have to think on it a bit and see what kind deal they can make me on trading in mine. Not in a rush but would rather get the L45 while there are some left over the L47 since it doesn't have a dpf and costs a fair amount less.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but I'm curious, did you ever have any more problems after the resolution?
