Not really. For the first time in entire life there are no trucks in my yard.

I'm not a "borrower" and if I need anything large picked up I will just hire a truck.

I'm totally new to this situation but so far I'm LOVING it. No drivers, insurance, fuel storage or maintenance.

It would blow my budget all to heck plus it was way too heavy for my little Ford Ranger so I gave it a pass.

Was it Nissan that had the TV advertisement for their pickups in which you see the truck sitting there, then this huge log falls across the bed smashing the crap out of it. Voice says "Want to haul wood, no problem".

That'd be the Ranger hauling that outfit!!!

Another one was truck sitting there, bunch of trivial household goods falls on the bed completely filling it, basketball falls off and bounces away. Voice says "need to move, no problem". They were great!!!!

My smallest lathe is a SM. Lovely machines. Were common in schools up here (Canadian made). They had a reputation for being "Student proof"

Monarch is a decent lathe but old..... Can do substantially better than them IMO

My big lathes are 70s vintage and that's about as early as I'd ever want
