Big Bear 400 Owners?

How much will they tow do you guys think? Just around the property at slow speeds in 4Low.

I have a 2003 4x4 Big Bear that I've used for the past year logging with a log arch. The arch picks the log completely off the ground. I have towed logs as large as 22"x17' (over 1600 lbs by the log charts).
Previous owner abused mine in the swamps and it is sometimes hard to shift in the first 3 gears.
My son has a 2000 2wd and it shifts smoothly.

I have a 2009 Big Bear and I wouldn't want any other utility ATV! The big bear does need time to warm up before the shifting loosens up but once its warm, it performs excellent (mine only has 23 miles on it). I got a great deal of $4600 before tax and prep fee. It is my second ATV and I am impressed with the torque, how easy it is to start, how smooth of a ride it has, and the overall simplicity of the machine. I bought the plow set-up (and winch) and hope it plows as well as my old Honda Rincon. After riding my friends Polaris (pulling a small trailer) and smelling the belt burning, I did not want any belt driven ATV. The Big Bear has two drive shafts and seems pretty bullet proof.

Bought a used '89 Big Bear 350 in 1991 and have run it hard ever since without hardly a problem. Still going strong! Thus I bought a new Kodiak 450 about 3 years ago, and it's even better. Seems Yamaha has discontinued the Kodiak, but the Big Bear series goes on. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. Great machines.
