\"Big Blue\" is here!!

Hi all,
My dealer just got my new TN65 tractor here yesterday! The dealer had to bring it up from Jacksonville, MS. I went over and inspected the tractor, then took it for a drive around the lot. I can't wait to take delivery this thursday. I'm praying for more snow so I can have quality seat time in the new beauty. Got so excited I brought home a set of quick attach pallet forks and the owner's manual. This tractor is even nicer than the demo model TN65 I test drove earlier. I'll try to post a couple of pics when I get the tractor home.

DocHeb, There weren't any TN65 tractors available in the area. My dealer called around and was able to locate another TN65S in Jacksonville. I was told that the TN tractors are very hot right now and are hard to get. I requested the factory cab, the 11.2/24" front tires, 16.9/30" rear tires, the mechanical shuttle & 6 hydraulic outlets. The only tractor available with that configuration was in Jacksonville, Mississippi. The dealer paid the shipping costs.

I bought mine almost 2 years ago and it had to be shipped in from the dealers pool in Baltimore. At that time the TN's were fairly new and there were not to many on any lots. You will appreciate the larger tires as the bigger footprint will not tear things up as much. Just don't drive on your lawn too much when it is wet or you will have a few dimples.

It sure sounds like the TN's are selling pretty well. What are the typical tasks for a machine this size. Baling hay, loader work, plowing? Just curious.

Mine is mostly plowing, discing and planting. I brush chop the pens and a few fields around twice a year depending on the wildlife. It is also used on jobs from time to time. We use it for stretching wire as well as maintaing over 2 miles of roadway that lead to our pens and fields. The town abandoned the road down thru the property and there is an old railroad path that is now driveway across the property. It does get a lot of loader work but the main reason we bought it was for tillage.
