Big Homier Sale NE Florida

Hi All. Just received a flyer for the first time about a large Homier sale in Jacksonville, Florida at the fair grounds on Sept. 23,24,25, and 26. Seems they're offering everything from beds and other furniture to tools, go carts and some tractor implements such as a 42" 3pt tiller ($699.99).

Has anyone bought one of these Homier tillers? I just imagine they're not really heavy duty, but would they do for several years of relatively light duty? I'd love to hear from anyone who has one. Thanks, John

This price for that size is very good. I do not think any company out there can compete with Homier in the price. Lets say it is a light weight machine. Lets suppose it weighs 400 LB. Whats the weight of heavy duty machine? 500 LB. Whats the cost of 100 LB material difference? About $50 only. So, this Homier tiller were 500 LB, then its price would be $749. Do you know any 42" tiller weighing 500 LB with a price of $749? I don't think so. So, that light (if light) Homier tiller with that price $699.99 is very good. Their tillers must be Chinese tillers. No one can compete them if we are in a free market world (if we really are in.)

Nomad, I think they are Chinese, and that doesn't bother me a bit if it seems well built. I'll have to go see the sale and find out when I get back from a trip this week. John

I have a china tiller, BUT it is not the farmpro version, mine is a center gear drive, the farm pro are side chain drive ones... one thing is the tines can be installed backwards and if they are then they can break very easy.

we just had one of those up here, i went to take a look, some of the stuff was not bad, but most seemed like it was rather light duty stuff.

Well, I stayed in North Carolina at Kioti headquarters until Thursday night and didn't make any of the sale. Came home with a terrible cold and just didn't feel up to going today. Maybe I'll make Sat or Sun.
Spiker, I think the gear drive models are much better than chain. I'm sure this one they're offering is chain. John
