And look what it dropped off. New Lincoln Invertec V350-Pro with pulse. Magnum SG spool gun, and module. But the cable kit did not arrive yet, maybe tomorrow.
Now I'll see what all the hub bub is about pulsed aluminum Mig, and spray arc Mig. Well, I got to get to the welding supply and pickup a bottle of 90% argon, and 10% CO2 before I can do any spray Mig.
Back to the shop!

Hope it also comes with a college course on how to run it. So many knobs, wheels & switches.:confused2: Don't think I would ever figure it all out.

Yeah first thing in the morning. I always let my inverters idle for 2 to 3 hours to let the capacitors level out before welding with them. Shame the cable kit that connects the spool gun module to the power source didn't come with the rest of it.

The Linde is gone, and a guy is suppose to be here Saturday to look at the old Invertec.

What's your thought on the separate wire feeder? You must have a dedicated mig machine, right?

I sold my Mig machine, with Cobramatic. With this new Invertec I'll use my LN-25, I've used LN-25s since the day they came out. In fact I remember when the LN-22s came out. The LN-25 was a huge improvement over the LN-22! The LN-22, the wire was hot all the time, and no gas. The no gas part wasn't a big deal for us we ran Innershield all the time anyway. But the wire being hot all the time was a PITA! Doing structural iron, and moving around a lot the gun would always bump into something, so we had to carry a pocket full of contact tips with us!

New boxes on the porch are always good, good luck with it. I got a planer knife grinder yesterday, maybe my days of burning chisel edges are over.. :laughing:
