Big wheel string trimmers

Tres, in the picture, it looks like you have a spare set of strings tied on the cross bar. I cut a piece of 1" pvc pipe(20" long, my trimmer uses 18" pieces) and glued a cap on one end and used another cap to make a tube to carry spare sets of string. Just tie strapped it to the handle and I have spare strings pre-cut and ready to wack the next piece of chain link fence or tomato cage/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I finally got some extended use of my new Troybilt trimmer/mower. I mentioned the other day about it bogging down. Boy what a difference dry conditions makes! I'm extremely happy with the way the machine goes through tall grass and weeds, and it much easier on the back than my conventional trimmer. It is, by the way, much more powerful than my Stihl FS85.

There were some parts around my tank (pond) where I and disked and there were some BIG clods and stuff, making it hard to push the wheel machine in this area, so I had to use the regular trimmer. But I am really happy with this machine.

Here is a pretty poor picture of the trimmer. My HP digital camera pretty much sucks.

Glad to hear you are pleased with the Big Wheel weed wacker. Looks like exactly the same engine I got on my Swisher wacker. Yeah, they do better in dry conditions. Mows right through Sunflowers and stuff. I like that yours has a lower center of gravity than mine.
Can you reduce the file size or resolution on your camera? J

I just noticed that I was using a higher resolution that usual, and should have reduced the size of the picture. But it seems like every picture I take has that haze in front of it, and I don't know what to do about it. I can change it a little with brightness and contrast, but my daughter's Olympus camera blows it away. Both cameras are inexpensive 1.3 Megapixal cameras, but I'm disappointed in mine.
