Backhoe BL4690 Backhoe Help

I have a deal closed up on a "rare" slightly used BL4690 backhoe for my B2710. I have addressed the ROPS and heavy duty top link bracket, but there is one unresolved issue. The backhoe was mounted on a L3010, which uses a different mast ear and mast bars than the "B" series. (these are the heavy horizontal bars that take the place of the top link) I question whether I should buy these new, OR see if the two holes needed for the "B" series mount can be added to the existing bars. I don't think it would compromise the structural integrity, but I would like some opinions from the wealth of knowledge on the board.

I'd just buy the bar. It's probably $30 (just a guess). You could also see if your local dealer has one left over after installing a 4690 on an L series.

It's a huge piece of metal and drilling a 1" hole (or whatever the size is) will be a challenge in itself.
