We kept goats for about 6 years they turned a weedy pasture into a posion ivy patch. WHAT A MESS! The goats ate everything, then we ate the goats. They debarked the trees, excaped and started eating the house I was building. Anything you spray will end up in your aqufier. We got rid of the posion ivy by mowing it for about 3 years. We now have a very nice pasture, mostly grasses. I also have a rear tiller for my tractor that I used after we had a pond put in to prepare the soil for seed. If not set to deep this may work to tear out the roots. Good luck. Jim
