Black Diamond log splitter (3pt)

I haven't done any research, but maybe they're running a pump off the pto vs a power beyond scv.
Two different types but still 3pt.

It would add a lot of money to the price of the woodsplitter. It would require a $500 pto pump, then a hydraulic reservoir, filtration, extra hoses etc. I ended up doing this for a homemade woodsplitter I made, and it works better then plug-in connections, but more expensive too.

I had one of these and it was pretty good for what it was. I was just splitting for recreational fires and fireplace for holidays. I installed an outdoor wood boiler and it wasn't the best for that. Kinda slow and the wood was always all over the ground. I went right to having to split 10-12 cord or more per year and other than a skid steer with an upside down splitter, The best thing I ended up with was a stand alone regular splitter. I added another valve and built a lift that made life wonderful. It would lift 30" rounds up onto the splitter and the pieces split out onto a modified table so I didn't have to pick them up off the ground. It's fast, powerful and on wheels. Plus I didn't have to smell my tractor diesel or have it running for hours at a time. All of this stuff is out there used too and it pretty much lasts for ever or is easy to replace components. Good Luck..
