Yanmar EX3200
I am looking for a back blade for my new tractor, the tractor is 59" wide and I plan on using the blade to cut some shallow ditches to drain my pasture and also maintain my gravel driveway.
The dealer where I bought the tractor is offering a good deal on a Woods RB7200 he has in stock. This blade has tilt and offset but I'm not sure if it will be wide enough. Any advise?

That would probably be a little on the short side when you're angling the blade all the way if you want to cut deeper into the ditch than where your tires would ride. Tilt is going to change that as well depending on how aggressive you are with it.

There should be a page in the owners manual which covers what implement widths are approved.

I would say the 6 footer will work fine. If you have your tires loaded, then you would probably have enough weight to work with a 7 footer. When you start offsetting and ditching, there is a huge strain on everything, and if you don't have enough weight, that rear blade will just spin your tractor around. The further out you go, the harder it is to keep everything going in the direction that you want it to go. Something else to keep in mind is the actual weight of the unit itself, always nicer to have some weight there.

Good luck. ;)

My Yanmar 276D is 60" wide. I have a 72" blade with tilt and offset. It works well.

I looked up the Woods owners manual on the blade you listed and you can offset it left or right by 8", 15"' or 22". My advice would be to look up the PDF yourself and confirm. I have an old 6' fixed blade for a similar width old Ferguson and the length worked well. It appears some other brands have blades that appear to offset a little more simply with a slide channel, but if it was a good deal I would think the Woods would serve you well. I think the model you listed is slightly different from the current model of that size which again you can compare from the Woods website PDF and the PDF of the manual on the model you listed.
