Tractor
Power Trac PT425 2001 Model Year
While searching for rear discharge to side discharge mower conversion, I came across a post where I ordered my Power Trac PT425 in 2001! hahahaa

Here's the text of it:

On Friday I placed my order for a Power Trac PT425. Here's what I ordered:

PT425
Small bucket W/teeth
Large light material bucket
60" finish mower
48" brush hog
60" snow blade
30" pallet forks
Custom attachment plate for future projects
Loading ramps to get it in my truck
Extra set of blades for finish mower
And I ordered the arm rests as well.

Grand total: $12,591.64 including shipping.

Everything is in stock so it should ship out early next week and arrive towards the end of the week. I'll take pictures and post them when it arrives.

Speaking for myself.. Funny how we old dudes can get excited about a simple tractor. My wife still gets upset and doesn't understand when I spend the day modifying or working on my tractor.

Over the years I've owned four 1970 Barracuda's in ever configuration. Two 1999 Trans Am's and two Harley's along with numerous other dirt bikes and road bikes. And although they were enjoyable and a lot of fun..

When sit back and think about, it I honestly think I've gotten just about as much enjoyment and satisfaction out of owning my Power Trac's creeping around the woods digging and lifting things .. ;) When the world moves to fast it's great therapy..

Very nice attachment setup.. How many hours do you have on that rig by now ?

Time does fly. I had no idea it was that long ago when you bought that.

Yes, my wife just laughs at me when I'm on the tractor board and she knows how much I enjoy operating that thing, especially if I volunteer at the ball park or church or for friends' projects. She knows I'm showing off. My friends know I'm showing off. I know I'm showing off. And we all share a meal and laugh about it. :D

Around 700 hours, I think. I average about 50 per year. I left the key on one weekend and put an additional 50hours on the meter!

Yeah, time does fly. When I bought it, my youngest daughter was just a tad over 3 years old and my oldest was 8. Youngest is now a senior in high school and the oldest is off at grad school! :confused2:
