On my 1984 John Deere 455D bulldozer with 4 in 1 bucket, I had a leaky hose in the right hand bucket cylinder to control valve line. This is the 3/4" hose that makes the bucket curl up and down. When I disconnected the old hose about 2 gallons of fluid came out from the control valve side of the line. I think it also drained out the lines on the left side since the left side " Tees " off the right side. I decided to replace both hoses on the right side going from the bucket cylinder to the control valve stopping short of where the left side " Tees " off. I had both 3/4" hoses made at the local NAPA store. They do nice work and are very helpful. Well, I connected up everything and now the bucket doesn't want to curl. When it leaked, it curled perfectly. What do I need to do now? Bleed it, if so,how, there is no bleeder bolt. Thanks, Frank.

Activate the lever until the relief goes on. Cycle the cyl about 5 times through a complete cycle holding the lever until the relief goes off each time.

That should purgr all the air out of the cyl.

Well I found the problem.........................I unknowingly crossed the hoses...................... I connected the hoses the correct way, cycled it 5 times as J_J said to do and now it works as it should. No leaks
Thanks, Frank.
