I'm mid 30's now and it bothers me waaay more now than it did when I was a teenager driving. I drove a mustang that was low to the ground, never had an issue. Now I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and Ram 2500 and even the little car lights will hurt when hit just right. If you throw in a rain soaked road the glare is crazy, almost enough to where it is hard to see the center line.
I don't know why electro tinted windshields and glass are not a thing yet, it was invented years ago. It makes sense to me, drive into sun, windshield tints, gets dark it is clear, bright light it tints to protect your vision, turn car off it tints for privacy.
I also think LEO blue lights hurt bad, I wish they had a dimmer on them so when they are in a safe place like a parking lot the intensity is about half the power.
