Blinker Lights with Brush Guards

/ Blinker Lights with Brush Guards #21
I bought a New Holland TC21 from my neighbor. The warning lights set to the outside of the ROPS. They are both broken off. I have been trying to find replacement 2 sided amber lights that have a guard to protect the lights. I have found a few guards but they are simply pipe around the lights. I was hoping to find pipes that are wide enough to cover the lights and have a screen to protect the lens.

Any ideas ?

One of this winter’s projects is to replace my TC45DA ROPs lights with ones mounted in a steel framed box.

I’m using 1/8”x3” wide strap to make the boxes. Along with LEDs, I’m also adding strobes and work lights.

Since I have livestock, I can not use LEDs. LEDs greatly spook them into a stampede. Already tried it once and had to repair the fence, and hours fetching them out of the woods.

In many states, it is law to have functional blinkers and 2/4-ways on a tractor when it is on public roads. In some countries it is law to have vehicle license plates and illuminated like vehicles.

Interesting I have not heard that.

However, the only time I use the warning/strobe lights is mowing along the road, so I want those animals (behind the wheel) to fully be nervous about me being there.

I can see that. Got several red flashing solar LED lights “predator eyes” to keep the coyotes out of front yard and woods while wife walks the dog at night. They do work. Deer and turkey don’t seem to care but they don’t move much at night. One theory is they relate the red flashing to fire?

My tractor has flashers in the fenders as well. 3rd time I broke one on the ROPS, I took them off and threw them in the trash.

I moved mine to the inside of the ROPS after having them bent but not broken.

Interesting. My steers pay no attention to my LED lights.

I switched to the LED lollipop lights on both tractors. Brighter, Cheap & easy to change.
