Has anyone installed a block heater on an L3400. I read a bunch of posts on the subject of block heaters and many talked about a screw in plug that can be removed and then the heater can be screwed into that spot. I do not see that my L3400 has a screw type removable plug in the block? It looks like there is a "plug" that can be punched through into the block but that makes me nervous. metal shavings inside the engine, etc.
