Block Heater - Nebraska

Block heaters do suck the hydro somewhat, but you don't leave it on 24/7. Just plug it in a couple of hours before you want to use the tractor. I turn my block heater on 4 hours before I want to use the tractor, but I have all day every day to clean the snow away. You might not have that luxury.

Thanks for all the input. I did not realize I was opening a metaphysical can of worms and ethical culpabilities but....

I think I'll go with a block heater but one in the lower radiator hose...not asking...

Thanks!

Make sure it is a 'circulation' heater then.
