On these ford 3 cylinder diesels (3910), what is acceptable blow by? Is there a known test for hooking a manometer up to the dipstick tub and putting an orifice on the breather/draft tube? I have not seen any oil dripping out of the breather or dipstick tube yet, but I haven't worked the tractor hard. I hope to get a chance to bushhog with it in a couple weeks once my 3 pt hitch parts come in. Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm aware that a certain amount of blow by can actually facilitate ring land cleaning, but I was just wondering what the general consensus was.

Without oil actually present, it would have to be a lot of smoke. But even that would be common if engine is getting worked hard.
