Blown hose on my max26

Yea I pulled it off a little while ago. looks to be a -5 AN (or whatever that thread pitch corresponds to). Owner's manual lists the ends as 1/2 x 4 UNF. Apparently that's (the line) not something mahindra sells individually anyway. so much for the warranty on a new machine ;) (just kidding, the dealer would handle it I'm sure, but it's faster and just as easy for me to fix it).

I'll jog it by either napa or oreilly's or one of the nut/bolt/fastener/etc places, there's several to choose from around where I work, NBD.
At the least, I would ask the dealer for a jug or two of hydro fluid to replace what you lost. Be sure to report this to the dealer; as you know how dangerous a blown hose can be.

I called em and asked about it, not sure if that fully qualifies as 'reported' due to me not asking them to do anything about it (and after last time I'm sure as **** not taking the whole thing up there hahahaha). I'll mention it again when I go up there for a replacement sway link and some fluid.

$26 after tax at napa. fittings look a little cheap, but the hose has a burst pressure of 20,000 psi, so I should be good there. apparently the fittings are of the 37 degree taper variety.

We had a #20 sized hose blow on a new machine just last week. The hose was fine during assembly and testing. But within a few hours of the customer taking delivery and usage, it blew in the middle. No obvious signs of physical damage. So it was just a defective hose. It happens. Service Tech sent out and hose changed for the customer. Problem solved. Back to Almond harvesting it went. B.

Sure. Ain't mad about it (disappointed at the lost work opportunity, but it happens).

got some seat time last night with the new hose on there, everything is good to go. further refining brush clearing techniques (and the rain helps with pushing stuff over too, which hopefully means less roots to deal with in a few weeks when the area's cleared), that toothbar is a nasty nasty mofo.
