It is 28'. The tractor is a mx5200. It did not pull good the way it's loaded either. We pull 17 round bales with no problems. But this load was jerking the truck.

My trailer "bucks" the truck if the weight is too far rearward.

I have yet to try anything. But have been kicking around the idea of just seeing if I can get both loaded on the trailer.......incase I get into another large 20+ acre job....a second machine would be nice.

My thoughts....if I were to pull the L3400 on, all the way forward, and sit the cutter on the deck. Then back on the MX, cutter as high as it will go, and sit it down over top of the cutter on the L3400. Would be close, but the DS96 cutter hanging off the back of the MX takes up alot of room. IF I had a 28+4 instead of my 20+5....I think I could do it pretty easy.

That might work for a physical fit.

You can see by this pic I'm putting plenty of weight on the truck. And that's with a trailer whose axles are forward more than normal. When you start using all of the deck, weight distribution becomes critical. I don't have enough floor space to swap the tractors putting the heavy one on the rear.

It almost looks like you could put the ford on first, and set the loader of the kubota on the rear blade of the ford?? But maybe not.

If I could get the MX and L3400 to both fit, I dont think I would have any issues with tongue weight. If anything, I think it would give less tongue weight than I haul with now, as I normally pull the MX all the way forward already. I cane go to ~4500# pin weight and not overload the truck being a DRW.

But I still just dont think it will work physically. Another 5-10' of trailer would sure be nice
