Blue Hates Orange

Thought you all might get a chuckle out of this one. I had a chance to get a used NH 33D at a good price. Went to the local NH dealer to get some information. His advice was to buy blue or green but stay away from orange. Poor quality control. Too bad I was there to get a price on having the Hydro pedal plate fixed (busted and tractor wont move) If orange's quality control is bad, how come our local orange dealers garage is empty? His was full!!!

If you can't dazzle them with the truth, do it with lies. I believe that all three of manufacturers are pretty good and would only point out where a dealer of the product he represents has said there are problems. Other then that, relying on a Chevy dealer to tell you how good Ford or Dodge are is probably not going to get you the most truthful answer, I should think tractors are fairly comparable. Rat....

Well being an orange owner and ex green owner I can tell you my old JD was purchased way undersized and I abused it asking it to do things it wasn't meant to do. So the fact I was always repairing it had nothing to do with the tractor, but the dealer where I had to get certain parts was arrogant. So when I went shopping for a new one, I never even looked at green. Red, blue, and bought orange.

Reviving a 13 year old thread? Now there's two orange companies to disparage. Back then there was only one.
