Bluebirds.

I have seen much less Robins this Spring up here and I searched online for a possible reason. I have seen articles about robins found dead down south because of the cold snap.

Plenty of them here. We are far enough South that they Winter here. Couple weeks ago they started feeding in my yard.

I will, on rare occasions, see a blue bird or two. They are passing thru to greener pastures.

Around here we don’t particularly care for Blue Jays. It’s the Cardinals everyone loves.

Bird report. A Purple Martin Scout showed up yesterday. He checked out the housing situation including the new pole and gourds that I set. We had a good visit. Then he left headed South. Said he'd be back with the gang in a week or so.

Had a Phoebe trying to build in the tractor shed. I just started the tractor and let it idle awhile. It never came back.
Saw it later building on a ledge I made for them a few years ago.
