bluebonnets?

I'm curious if bluebonnets are showing up yet w/i driving distance of Houston. I'm over here for a few days & could take a drive up toward Brenham or thereabouts if they are out yet.

just came back from College Station through Conroe- There out and blooming!

Here is a map put out by TxDot to show sightings.

Also, here is a list of sightings from Instar.com. I read on this list that around Houston Intercontinental Airport there are bluebonnets.

EDIT: Well rats! I see that Jack posted on 3/19 and I did not see it. I'm guessing he is back in Louisiana by now.

Thanks - - wish I could have made out into the country. Turns out the only day i had free was when that bad storm passed thru last week - - I'm back home already. Maybe next year. I was raised in Central Texas & miss the fields of blue.
