Yipee! My TN55 has arrived.

Got an hour or so seat time. Haven't a particular job for it yet, but I smoothed drive a bit.

After operating this thing for that short bit I want to drive it to Sunday meeting.

I saw the data sheets, read the reviews, and all that. But I was not prepared for all the features (it is a cab supersteer model):

Wipers coming and going (with washers); a/c (blows cold air too); sprung seat (whooee); lights and levers and switches to beat the band; tunes (with cd); and get this -- a sun shade for the windshield (it pulls down in front of the driver, one of those mesh screens). I haven't tried the cup holder out yet, nor some of the switches.

The only disappointment is that rear remotes power the loader. Not horrible, but I thought it had a non-dedicated remote and room for 3 more. Makes for some looonng loader lines though.

It makes my old VAC14 seem like a rock to a jackhammer.

Its name be up for change, but Bluetus is kind of catchy...now to buy appropriate accessories (I mean, 'implements') for it. For sale, one slightly worn out Case....

I forgot to add:

The guy who delivered Bluetus didn't make much money this trip. He had a door break on his way Sunday. I didn't know until I walked over to look 'er over and he whipped out a receipt from a local dealer for $573. Basically, it is just a big piece of glass. He called the dealer on Monday, arrived local on Tuesday at the dealer for the door and showed up with it all looking good at our place. I don't think I would get that kind of service from very many businesses! Makes NOT going for the lowest bidder okay!

What do you mean by the rear remotes that power the loader? Don't you have a mid mounted joystick? That machine should take 3 pairs on the back I think. $750 each though.

My TN's loader runs off the mid-mount valves, then it has 3 remote's in back

the cab rocks.

Ive seen TNs w/ loaders using the rear (two) remotes. A number of yrs ago around NH thats how they came...loaders used the rear remotes. Not sure if thats just how it was or a frugal means of having a loader.

Pictures imminent! Significant other has the camera (somewhere....). Hopefully not using it as a hammer (technically she thought it was the rock in her other pocket-- now I have a new camera -- which she replaced before I knew it was 'hammered'). LMAO.

Anyhow, I will have to find out about the opportunity to add mid-valves and get my remotes back. Remotes are on my list.

They were all like that for several years. On my first 2 TN's there were 4 stacked valves on the rear, 2 of which were dedicated to the loader. They were hard plumbed to a disconnect panel under the left side loader pillar. Cables from the loader joystick operate them They work just fine and don't appear to be a kludge at all. If you didn't know where they were you 'd never even notice. BTW I don't think they saved a dime doing it that way.

I can't imagine they saved any money just in the cost of hose alone. I looked up the rear remotes parts diagrams a couple of weeks ago and saw that the cab model only allows for 3 stacked valves, presumably due to the direction the stack goes. That's if you use the factory valves of course.

Will have to look over the real thing versus what is in the parts book to see if it is worth modifying the factory brackets, or put something fully custom together (power beyond to another stack, etc). Easy would be using the factory stack, but maybe not so easy with a cab.
