Since this is a 55 I am assuming it is a used unit which would explain the rear remotes to run the loader. My 65 is setup this way and I have never had a problem with the hoses running under the tractor. I would have liked the mid mount remotes like the new units though only for the convience of putting the loader on and off without having to climb under the tractor to run the loader lines and strap them up.

Is your loader the 33LA?

Yes it is. I had it in my little pea that it was a 32 model. Guess that explains the self leveling feature (sort of self leveling).

Significant other 'helped' me to find a new name -- something about cadavers -- to Bluford. Seeing as how blu is Italian for blue. Coy.

Now to figure out how to attach pics & a movie.

The 32LA was for standard front axles. With the Supersteer axle sticking out so much further NH had to make the loader clear the axle which is why there is the 33LA. Self leveling was available on both 32 and 33LA

Still need to find the camera and take pics -- that are low enough resolution to post.

Was looking over one of the tractors for sale sites and saw two things I needed to see:

-A four stack of rear remotes on a cab (looked to me like 4 would fit, but the NH catalog says 3 max for a cab).

-A quick connect bulkhead assembly under the right floorboard for the loader lines. Mine runs from the rear, with each hose being a 2 piece set (the connectors are about where the bulkhead assy sits). Would make removing/replacing the loader easier. I also noticed that the hoses at the rear remotes would fit better if NH had used angled fittings to make the lines roll forward instead of swinging out into the 3 point area and adding stress to the hoses (after 10 years I guess this isn't a horrible deal, but seems not quite finished -- just cheaper).

Now to find prices. Ugh!

I noticed that the NH catalog shows electric remote controls for the 3pt hitch next to the tail lights. That is a feature (I think) available on the Kioti tractors. Would be nice to have when hitching implements (probably a bit pricey). The linkage sure is superior to my late 40's/early 50's engineered Case (duh).
