Bobcat 3023 tractor hydrostatic drive problem

I have a Bobcat 3023 tractor with trencher and when it starts pulling hard the drive system disengages and goes into freewheel mode. If you are on a hill it rolls. The only way I can get it to re-engage is to shutdown the motor and restart it. All other hydraulic functions continue to work when this happens.
Any help would be appreciated.

Probably would get better response on the Bobcat construction equipment forum. However, lot's of knowledgeable folks on this forum.
