We call it "Swamp Reclamation."

I have a ditch that runs along the property line that has filled up with silt & dirt over the years before I bought the place. The water doesn't have anywhere to go right now so it does get very spongy. I am slowing hogging the weeds to get some air/sun to the ground and this fall I am going to clean out the ditch when it's a bit drier.

Get to rent and excavator for that job!
