The 773 stopped while mowing. It acted like it ran out of fuel but the gauge read 1/2 full. I put in 5 gallons and the fuel spilled out the fill. So no, it did not run out of fuel... You tube suggests the problem is a broken pick up tube in the tank. That's where I will be concentrating my efforts. Problem is the machine is broke down in the worst possible place to repair. ( Murphy's law)
That was yesterday and I woke up thinking if the pickup tube is broken off and the fuel is now at the top of the filler neck. The elbow into the tank should be in fuel ?
I'm going to go down today and try bleeding it and see it will run long enough to get it back to the shop.
