why is my bob tach so hard to use even after i greased it and used sledge to unfreeze steel pin and removed bucket? i am using

why is my bob tach so hard to use even after i greased it and used sledge to unfreeze steel pin and removed bucket? i am using

hard to say without seeing it. many reasons. cold temps change grease, sand in the grease around the pin, years of not greasing them, bent metal or dented pin from hard use...........

Take the bolt out that handle pivots on then pull the pin, spring, handle assembly out of the Bobtach. Clean the pin and inspect for bend. Apply a light coat of grease. Clean the pin bore of the Bobtach and make sure the grease zerk is not plugged. Put it back together, pin should slide easy. Then grease the pins everytime you grease rest of the loader pivots whether you indend to take bucket off or not. 2-3 pumps of grease each time to keep the pin loose.
