bobcat 843 no lift or curl control

used the bobcat 843 to move snow for 3 hours yesterday, no issues, today started fine but no lift, lower curl up down on the bucket, it drives as usual but if you lift the arms they go up half inch and stop, try to lower arms and again goes up half inch ans stops, push the right pedal either way the bucket will move down slightly and stop

there is no noise from hydraulics if you hold the pedal in any position, too late today to look under the cab, anyone have a idea what may be the cause, thanks

oil level is good and clean, thinking about it hard starting had to put charger on it, now im thinking my son may have pushed the lever for the auxiliary, have to check that in the morning, would this cause the symptoms?

Front auxiliary is locked ON. Pull the Right drive lever sharply to the left to unlock

I was going to suggest the same thing. Other wise you need to get a pressure gauge and see if your pump is good.

thanks guys, it was the right lever, must be getting old thee days and feeling a little dumb, this machine is one for around the works for snow and a bit of driveway gravel, must admit Im getting lazy for the last 4 years using the S590 with joystick controls, anyway its back running like it always has

New Holland 781 has a similar lock setup and it for no reason at all just locks. ---its annoying as heck when your in a hurry!

It is not a lock. It actuates the aux ports, but one direction has detent so it stays in that position for running motors or such on the aux ports. But if you don't have anything hooked up to the aux ports, it maxes out the hyd pump against the relief and you get no pressure to the other controls. Happened to me a few times when I first got my 843. Now I know to check it when it doesn't seem right.

and the mystery evolves, my grandson was in it the night before, he likely moved every lever and switch that can move, my son figures its funny I could not figure it out, well I had no idea a 6 year old was playing in it
