Bobcat CT230

Hello to all Newb here buying first new tractor (actually anything to do with tractors) looked at used then looked at auctions(all they do is ship same tractor from Tyler to OK and back again guys what a scam) so I went looking new almost fell down and cracked my head open at the first Kubota I went to(L2800HST/FEL) same thing happened at every other dealer in Texas I went to(NH1510,JD3005,Branson3010,CUB EX2900(3200 was only $150 more), McCormicK,Mihindra all well over $15k (NOT FINANCE PRICE BUT CASH)with same general equipment 4wd,HST,FEL,Rear Stabilizers. I found this thread and started researching BobCat TC and settled on either the 230,235 just depended on price you all know there is a limit one will pay for a tractor that in all likely hood sat at the dealership already for a year or order one and pay retail even with rebates came out over 12500 so I settled on a lonely 08' CT230 didn't have a loader so they said they would order a new one w/BOBTACH 60" bucket, Sunshade and 1 rear remote gave me a price of just over 11k and change + Wound up got it for a little less delivered just have to wait like 3weeks for it to come in. Got a question though salesman was very elusive as what Deluxe package includes and is that a good price for it Thanks in advance for any and all feed back. Also anybody with this model tractor give me some feedback too please tell me if your honestly happy with it. I did see it over weekend it has a suspension seat,Tilt wheel and Ind tires(a little sun faded and dry Texas you know) Nice tractor all in all but what else should I look for in that so called deluxe package though guys and thanks again

I got a quote today from my Bobcat dealer. Said he has a dozen ct230's ordered for next week.

They are speced with standard package, GP tires, suspension seat and Bobtach loader and bucket. With the factory rebates and free loader with cash they are priced at $11,800.

I cant buy until October, but this tractor fits the bill it looks like.

Where in Tx are you? What dealer did you use??

I am in San Antonio and the closest Bobcat CUT dealer (Kerrville) quoted me $2000 more than you seem to have paid.

Deluxe package gets you the loader joystick, mid pto, and one rear remote at one heck of a savings. Package is no longer available.

thank you for response is there any difference between suspension seat upgrade on standard package and the seat that comes in the deluxe package?? also is there anything else I can use the mid pto for other than just a midmount finsh mower? I just learning this give me a Peterbuilt no problem this is just new

I think it could be used to run a front mount snow blower. I'm not sure what else.

Thanks CT230 Fan I think this guy is trying to pull one over on me saying the tractor has the Deluxe package but it does not. the one that showed up yesterday at dealership did not have the Rear remotes or the Mid Pto he told me he would put the remotes in but has yet to contact me back on if he can do the Pto is the tractor still a good price at $10.7 delivered with sunshade and the RearRemotes installed with just coulpe of hours on clock from moving around lot.
Guys was quoted $12.9(09, bobtach Fel,Adj seat) in Houston and around $12.1 for (08,Pinon Fel,Adj seat) but I have to pick up. Which one do I do

If you can get the 10700 with sunshades and remote you better run and get it now. Or give me the name of the dealer so I can get it since I'm still waiting on the one I ordered. I wouldn't necessarily be too critical of the dealer as the general knowledge of the dealers I've talked to is that they are rather confused as to the packages available: their dealer information is a little vague and their computer ordering system is inconsistent. He should be able to do the mid pto at the dealer (not sure) but unless you want a MMM I wouldn't worry about. It's easy to tell, look underneath the tractor and there should be an output shaft facing forwards on the tractor if it has the midpto.

Just was told that promotion is over was terminated at business close today I was t5old this by Boibcat salesman that call me about mid pto
