There are products on the market that can take the scratches out of lexen. Its like a very fine cutting compound. For more severe scratches use a 12-1400 grit wet and dry sandpaper first.

The problem is with the coated windshields. They don't polish up as well but if the scratches are bad, some polishing is better than nothing.

The other thing about the cleaner I use is that it's anti static and as long as I use a pure cotton cloth the dust just slides off without sticking to much, similar to cleaning vinyl records for those of old enough to remember.:D

the anti static is nice. Not having the particles stick to the lexan makes a big difference. I still like my wiper but it has to be used occasionally but when it's misting, it works great and doesn't scratch. The coating that the cleaners leave on the glass work almost like a rain x to to keep debris from sticking and allow the wiper to work with less resistance.

Not sure what Polycarbonite product Bobcat uses but I used .5 inch GE Lexan MR 10 Marguard. There are numerous coated products but the MR 10 is the only one I found to remain scratch free. It is standard on all Primetech Gators. As long as it is cleaned once a week or so with a product called Plexus it remained clear, even where the wiper rubs it constantly.
For anyone that hasn't heard of Plexus, or is looking for a good cleaner here's the link:

I have found static guard works fairly well with talcum powder type dust. Cloth towels work better than paper also. Fine dust, frozen mud have got to be the worst.
