I just thought I would share this project that I just completed. This is a bobcat style quick attach that I built for my 1941 international M loader. I wanted to be able to have the ability to switch attachments quick and easy. I figured I would copy the most common one out there. Very rewarding project. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Now I just need to finish making the plates that I will weld to all the different attachments that I have.

Beautiful job!!! What parts were commercial, the bottom pins & handles/levers? Been thinking of doing something similar for my FEL bucket.

I made all the parts except for the tie rod ends that are connected to the pins. I took some pictures of a Bobcat to model all the parts off of. It is not exact but close to a bobcat.

Here is a picture of the plates that I made to weld to my bucket. I copied these from a bobcat as well.

Andy

The best looking fabrication I have ever seen. This kind of stuff is real popular here. Thanks for the pictures.!

John didn't you say that you needed a set of QA plates like that for an upcoming plow project? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yes until I saw this post "snowplow on my NH TN65" I sure like the idea of keeping it close. But who knows?

Thanks john. This is what I enjoy most. Trying to make something fit or work that wasn't originally intended to. Makes the wife nuts /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. I'm currently working on a tine grapple bucket that I will post some pictures of when it is done.

That looks great. I think I added this caution before but, regular lube and movement of the locking pins is a necessity. You wouldn't believe how tough they can be to knock out if they get rusted in. Heat, PB blaster, heat, big hammer, bigger hammer. Oh yeah, if they do get stuck, beating from the bottom side may ruin the pin!

Only thing I see missing is a picture of the rest of that M! Great tractors.

Tim, Unfortunatly the rest of the tractor is very used and dosen't look all that great. It is definately not as pretty as the quick attach /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. Lets put it this way, My dad had the bright idea to haul it to a tractor show this summer and came home with a trophy for MOST USED. Not a big suprise. The clay stuck to the bucket floor probably didn't hurt any. Don't get me wrong though, it has been a great tractor and I wouldn't trade it for anything. ( well maybe a brand new John Deere )I hope to get some time this summer to put a coat of paint on it and cover some of the battle wounds Thanks, Andy

That has to be the highest honor of all the trophies.

That means you bought the right tractor! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
