I would love to be able to afford one.
I see this opinion expressed a lot and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but in my case I don't know of other machines that will do better than the Toolcat, for what I use it for.
Show me a machine that will do better with a 7' brush hog around trees and on the dam.
But with a Versahandler, you don't need the mowing tractor!same bushhog on a tracked skid steer, might be more stable, probably be slower. tractor going straight up and down. i don't know your situation.
my comments on compromise were more general. people wanting a vehicle that can tow 7000lbs and get good fuel economy to commute to work, as opposed to a newer pickup. might be better served with a commuter car at 35 mpg and an older pickup. a swiis army is a jack of all trades, but there are better, knives, scissors, saws, out there
the toolcat wouldn't work for what i use for but a versahandler and a dedicated 40ish PTO mowing tractor would
But with a Versahandler, you don't need the mowing tractor!
