Bobcat Zero Turn Recall due to crash hazard

Bobcat CRZ and XRZ zero turn models recalled November 20th almost 5000 units effected....

"The control arm component for steering can break under normal use which may cause the operator to lose control on the mower and crash."

A bobcat ZTR and Bobcat tractor is not made by the same company

The only mowers Bobcat Company builds are attachments to hook onto tractors, loaders, toolcat, or UTVs. Self propelled bobcat mowers are, or used to be built by Ransome. Not sure about Ransome's current status.

I looked a few of their Z turns a several years ago and they were very nice machines from what I could see.

Yes, Bobcat mowers are not connected to Bobcat skid steers or the (past) tractors. Different company.

Makes you wonder how in the world both companies can use the word Bobcat. It certainly can be confusing.
