Bobcat773 lift problem

We have a bobcat 773 lift will only work when tilt is maxed out in either direction or aux is maxed in either direction we press the lift and it will wait until tilt or aux is maxed then will move .Anyone ever experienced this problem?

Bad lift cylinder. Will it drift down from a raised position? Weak work pump??

AHC Advanced Hand Control. SSL Skid Steer Loader. How did you test your work pump? How many hours are on the unit? Can you post the SN#?

The work comp I believe was checked by the neighbor who has a pressure tester the serial number is 509639344 I believe what you were asking was if it had a band in control not has foot pedals on either side it only control on the hand is a switch for the auxiliary The machine has 3800 hours

Does the engine labor when you command the boom to lift? If it don't perform a lift cylinder leak by test. you may just have a blowed out lift cylinder.

When you say tilt or aux has to be maxed out for the lift to work....

Does that mean max it out AND hold it there?

Or simply tilting the bucket all the way one direction then letting off and then the loader lift works?

Dont really see how it could be a cylinder, since it shouldnt matter what the tilt or aux is doing. IF it was a bad cylinder, its going to be bad all the time.

And since all other functions work, I wouldnt suspect the pump either.

Sounds like you have something going on in the valve itself. Something with the lift spool not responding right.

Your SSL lift issue is sure acting like the main relief valve is set low. Your unit should be set at 3000 to 3050 at high idle. pressure is checked at the female aux coupler. If it is in spec you may have an issue with the BICS. BICS is the safety system that prevents you from operating the machine without a body in the seat and the seat bar down. Your SSL has a very early design of the BICS consisting of 2 pilot operated valves for the lift and tilt. The lift lock out pilot valve may be malfunctioning. This valve is part of the lift arm bypass valve.:confused3:
