Bobocat CT 335 electrical no start

My CT335 for the longest time always acted like the battery didnt have enough juice when starting, turns out it was the ground so i replaced it and everything worked fine. A few months later now and the engine will not turn over with the key, I can open the hood and jump the starter solenoid and it will fire right up. Also when the no start issue started i noticed my glow plugs dont work when i turn the key forward, I have to manually turn the key backwards and hold it to make them work. My cruise control quit at the same time also. The only safety switch that has been bypassed is the seat switch because my son was to light and when he was mowing the fields he would bounce up and the tractor would stop. Not quite sure where to start looking at this point. I was also thinking that when the tractor was new there was a light on the dash to tell you what gear the trans was in and i dont see that any more

You might have already pointed to the key of the switch problem

Yep, key switch sounds like the problem. I would pull it out and test continuity of the contacts at each position with a voltmeter & wiring diagram
