Well I finally got back to working on my G154 today and got it running on 2 of 3 cylinders at least. I had bought an older 1976 Massey 245 and got derailed onto that on my "spare" time. If you recall I thought I had both some white and some black smoke and it would "almost start". So my thought with all of the TBN ideas you gave me, was to get enough heat as possible to the engine and hope that I could get it to run in some fashion.. I put on a magnetic block heater let it heat up the engine, and put the battery charger on high setting while directing the air from a hair dryer into the air filter intake. That did it, she finally chugged herself into running. However she was running weak and would stall if I drove it in any higher gear. So I got it going again and grabbed a wrench for the injector nuts. When I loosened the injector nut (at injector, not pump) to either cyl #1 or #2 she would die. When I loosen the nut to #2 diesel dribbled out but the engine did not change in how it ran. So it looks like I have a bad injector. Suggestions? Try to clean it or buy new? Does anyone know the best place to get injectors for a Mitsubshi K3A? Sonneys? Stevens?
