I have quickly tried to search the forum for anyone using "Bolt Lock" technology on their truck toolboxes but it's difficult when the word is not unique. If this has been discussed before could you point me to the discussion? I'm considering putting the Bolt Lock onto my UWS tool box and have it keyed to my Ford ignition key...... http://www.boltlock.com/product-category/shop-by-type/toolbox-latch-retro-fit-kits/ . This would provide ease of use and extra security for those "would be thieves" with common UWS keys. My question is this an easy swap and can just the tumblers be swapped?.....Thank you, Gary

I suppose its only $40 pluss whatever it takes to get it keyed to your key... but the reality is, most of the rear toolboxes like that, can be poped by a simple pry bar or large screwdriver. The flimsy AL sides and covers just arnt strong enough.

You could say your just locking it to keep the honest guy out, and if thats the case, might as well just use the factory lock and add the key to your key chain.
