Bolt on chain grab hooks for FEL

I have no need for anything other than chain hooks. If I am lifting something I am going to use a chain.

Same here, but if you wanted to use a rope or straps, you could always make up a little short length of chain with a clevis on the end. It would be real simple to do. Chain grab hooks are so easy to use, as they only take 1 second to hook up and unhook.

Hooks on the side and a 2" receiver in the middle. It gives you the most flexibility. Makes moving a trailer a breeze. Ball mount makes a pretty good lifting point as well.

I just purchased two hooks and clevis combo's from Ken, I think I will use the clevis enough to justify the added cost. The more options I have, the better I like it..

not sure what the name of these hooks are. more of a "handle", and a hook combo.


the V notch, accepts different size chain (it slops / angles) down into the notch. so it really does not matter what type of chain size i have on hand. and the larger D makes it nice for some straps. without binding / pinching the straps up and getting caught up.

have used the hole / D handle part a few times to drop end of a chain into. (to long of a chain and needing to wrap it up, so it is not dangling)

some cases, i may end up tilting bucket in such a way that a hook would allow a chain to come off the hook on the bucket, and end up using the D handle. other times, re using the V notch for chain and say pulling fence post. or dealing with larger tree limbs.

my issue with "pins" is they bend, and may not work a particular chain i have on hand and fit through lines. or hook to pin is to loose and hook keeps wanting to fall off.
