Before i got balls deep into jarring up the bucket i figure i better put a cutting edge on to protect it. Loader came with a 12 bolt pattern that was very difficult to find the exact one for this loader for a reasonable price. Couldve had one made however convenience got the best of me on this one. Went to Massey and they ordered the correct one through agco.

Next up, ordered some "Kens bolt on hooks" as theyll come in handy.

I configured my bolt on hooks from Ken the same as you have done. You will find them very useful.

nice job
had you considered a bolt on tooth bar instead of the cutting edge, or is your application more scraping than excavation?
my tooth bar has made a world of difference digging compared to the straight factory fel bucket edge.

The loader came with holes in it for a bolt on edge so I figured I’d utilize it.
I might still be able to bolt on a tooth bar if I find that I need it. How is back dragging with it work for you. If I need more serious cutting in the dirt I’ll rent a skid steer or larger piece of equipment.

back dragging is fine esp in float position (w/ only a slight bucket angle), or i'll use the bucket heel
good work. now time to get some mud on those surfaces :)

No idea what you will be digging but loaders even the big commercial ones are not designed to dig hard compact material. They really are made for loose material. Not saying you can not do it with a loader or fel. If you have a box blade with rippers on it try running them through before loading with fel. It may surprise people a fel frame can be bent. I know, been there and done that, not digging but lifting down tree. Do my digging with a blade or excavator.

For sure. Right tool for the job. Dug out 22+ trees this weekend.

Nice job!

Used them for the first time today. Picked up my pallet forks from the freight terminal and what a perfect way to unload them from my truck.
