Has anyone used bolt on forks like the Panes Forks http://www.paynesforks.com/medium.htm

I saw these advertised at the top of this forum and I thought they looked like a good idea for someone that would need forks occasionally. I can see myself needing forks occasionally but not enough to take the time to remove the bucket from the FEL to put on pallet forks. Any thoughts?

I have a set and they are great. I use them for unloading pallets from trucks, carrying logs and brush, etc. Very well made. Just remember, keep the load as low as possible and go slow.

I bought a set last year. They really come in handy. I use mine like MadDog does, but in addtion, I use them to move my box blade, rotary cutter and RFM around once the season is over, and back out for the warmer season. Sure saves me space being able to put those 500+ pound implements right where I want them.
I also got the ball hitch from Paynes. It's great for moving trailers around. Both are highly recommended by me!

Check out MDS clamp-on forks www.mdsgroup.net, you can get sets 1000 lbs up to 6000 lbs. Their clamp on system is pretty neat. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
