Hi All,
Just finished installing a set of specially made Bolt On Grab Hooks from Kenny at Boltonhooks.com. They're basically his bolt on hooks with a spacer tack on the bottom, see attached pictures. This spacer, a piece of 2x3 square steel tubing, serves two purposes. One is it allows the hook to be above the lip so the chain doesn't damage the hook. I also provides lateral support to the hook when mounted against the lip. I think it was a brilliant idea. I already ordered the clevis mounts so I used those on the inside of the bucket but a backing plate would work also. I tested them out by pulling some fence posts out of the ground and they worked flawlessly. This was my first time doing this so go easy on my technique! ... Highly Recommended!
