Bolts for loader

Have to replace the bolts for my loader mounts. Having a hard time finding 14mm x 1.5 x 35 in a grade 10.9 locally will a grade 8.8 work or should i order the 10.9?

If you are just talking about a bolt or two out of 12, and if your in a pinch, I wouldnt be afraid to use the 8.8's. But I'd get the 10.9's and replace them as soon as you can.

The 8.8 bolts will still have a higher tensile strength than any of the metal the loader, or tractor casting is made out of.

Agree! I neglected to check the tightness of my loader (on my CT230) as suggested in the maintenance... and had several loosen, then break off. Also unfortunately, they broke off W-A-Y-Y-Y back in the woods. I had to disconnect the loader, drive the tractor back to my shop, then drill out the broken bolts and buy a new replacement set. The guys at FASTNAL were great! They helped me select the correct bolts, some in stock, some to be ordered, but I had the loader back on within a week.
All to say: if you need ANY size, type, grade of bolts, you are likely to get them at FASTENAL.
And the moral is: ALWAYS make periodic checks of all those bolts... vibration sure does a number on them!

Wow. This is the worst one I've heard of. I've had them come loose on other tractors before but always was able to notice before it got to bad.
My bolts have a thin paint line across them so a quick visual check tells me if they have moved or not. Snuged them up a little at 25 and 50 hours so far no movement.
