Re: 4WD Up or Down

Hey it looks like your right front tire is low on air. Either that or the ground is soft /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: 4WD Up or Down

Actually the DK35 seemed to fit my needs pretty good.I liked the DK platform and style.I have a lot of tight brush hogging in my fields do to christmas trees that were planted before I bought the property, the ones that didn't get sold are now up to the 25' to 30' range in height. So size was something to think about in getting around thru my fields and wood roads.I also wanted to get something to handle a bigger snowblower than what I use on my Honda. The 42" snowblower that I have now can take up to 2 or 3 hours to do everything after a big storm.I hope to get at least a 64" blower for the rear of my DK35 this fall.

I should be getting my tractor back Monday or Tuesday. And if it stops raining try to get some mowing done.I've been waiting till my 4WD got fixed before I attempt to widen my brook crossing to get this bigger tractor across to get at my other field. If I get this thing stuck than I'm in big trouble. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Re: 4WD Up or Down

Hey Thanks,

There is a soft spot there. There was a stump or two there the day before. I guess it isn't packed down yet. I'll do some back dragging with the FEL or put the grader blade on and smooth it out when I get a minute. The tire is fine but it does look low, good eye. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Re: 4WD Up or Down

Brunswick, my old stomping grounds /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Was at the NAS for 2 1/2 years. We have 20 acres on the outskirts of Augusta now. Curious where you bought your DK? I looked locally but was turned off by the dealer in Poland. Stuck my neck out a little and bought a Century 3045 in CT. So far, absolutely no regrets. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Re: 4WD Up or Down

Ah yes,
I live a mile from BNAS. I too was turned off by the dealer in Poland. I told him up front that I had already received quotes from out of state and would give him an opportunity to match the deal. He all but threatened me with slow service if I didn't go with him but in the same breath he said he wouldn't have any heart-ache with selling to a buyer in the same town as the other Kioti dealer in southern Maine. He said he would not make a deal where he wouldn't make 3000 bucks stating advertising costs, etc. Like I have said before, his costs haven't gone down but his revenue sure didn't go up when he refused to sell to me for the same margin the out-of-state dealers would (that's including over $1600 in delivery charges). Carver Equip. didn't seem to be able to get a complete quote to me after several e-mails, ended up going with Little Tractor and Equip. out of IL. Very good people. Very good service. No regrets either.

I hope the weather improves here in Maine so we can clock some hours on the tractors. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
