Absolutely - the Steiner boom mower will fit the Ventrac 4200 - BUT... The drive belt from the tractor to the boom mower is a B-42. The muffler on the Ventrac will have to be modified because the boom mower side support arm passes right where the bottom of the muffler is - at least on the diesel I have. The hole out the bottom of the right support arm where the electric cables come out has to be changed because it is too far back and the bracket will mash or cut the wires. So, you need to drill a one inch hole in the bottom about six inches forward of the existing hole and then pass your wires out that hole. Finally, you will need two small metal plates - about two inches by three inches and a quarter inch thick. You put these under the screw clamps for the control arms on either side of the tractor. The ones welded in place are too far back when used on the Ventrac. I know it sounds like a lot, but it's not too bad and the results are awesome in what this unit does around my pond and creek line. If you need pictures of modified exhaust or other instructions, I'm happy to oblige.
