boomer 20 25 hydraulic noise!!!!! HELP

I have 2012 Boomer 20, When the tractor was first delivered I noticed a squealing noise from under the seat. After about twenty hours the noise has gotten so loud you cant even sit on the tractor. The noise does not change with rpm, loader operation, driving, steering or using the 3ph. The dealer has changed both hyro filters and the hydro pump. They called Friday to inform me that the repair did not solve the issue with the noise. The tractor operates normal and has no other issue. What could be causing this?

Could be a relief valve.

Install a pressure gage in the system and see if there is any pressure with all levers in neutral.

If it is reading relief pressure, then a hose or component/something is blocking the flow.

Should be very little pressure with a correctly installed system.

Correct me if I am wrong, but shouldnt a 2012 still be under warranty? Or does NH not carry the same 5 year warranty that LS does?

Yes its still under warranty, however it seems like right now the dealer is playing the guessing game. Like I said before they replaced both filters, hydro pump and flushed the system. They called friday to tell me the parts did not fix the noise. The guy told me it must be another bad hydro pump. I always thought when a hyro pump fails it just quits. The noise doesnt seem to be associated with the pump. The hydro lines under the seat seem to be where the noise is coming from.

It is easy enough to checkout a pump, and that should have been the first thing to check to verify something is good.

If it is a relief valve, a heat gun should spot the area.

A screwdriver with handle to the ear and touching part of the tractor might help isolate the sound.

I tried the screwdriver trick before I sent it back to the dealer. The pump was not the source of the noise. I never heard from them today so ill call them tomorrow to see what they have come up with.

Ok J J the dealership said that the service rep from New Holland said the noise is because of the straight cut gear inside the hydro pump. They replaced one of the steel supply lines with a flexible line but the service manager at the dealership is far from satisfied. He said that even though it seems a tad bit quieter it is still unacceptable and he may try insulation on and around the pump. I feel as if I made a mistake with my purchase of this boomer 20.

Do buy that about the gears?

What do you mean Leejohn? They said they usually use two types of gears inside hydro pumps. One is the straight cut and I am not sure about the other. I sent new Holland an email tonight explaining the issue. I also made sure to let them know that the dealer has been working hard to resolve the situation but the service reps from New Holland have not given any solutions other than the type of gear. I have searched LS forum all of New Holland and I can only find one other individual who complained of this high pitched squeal. So it must not be a common problem.
